Norman Foster is one of the most successful architects of our time. His buildings have established standards for intelligent, extraordinary architecture all over the world.

The Briton has won the Pritzker prize and the Gold Medal for Architecture of the American Institute of Architects and has been honoured by the Queen with the title Lord Foster of Thames Bank.

Norman Foster and Walter Knoll first started working together when it came to furnishing the Reichstag Building in Berlin.

Since then, several lines have been created with Foster symbolising the synthesis of architecture and furnishing, including the Foster 500 sofas and armchairs.
